Southern Grocery Distributor (SGD) was started in 2004 as a fresh meat wholesale distributor serving customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, and Florida. In 2007, SGD began exporting packaged meat to the Caribbean and Central America. In 2014, in an effort to provide better service to our export customers, we expanded our product lines to include grocery and household items. Since 2014 SGD has been exclusively exporting grocery and house hold items to the Caribbean and Central America.
